These terms cover your use of FoodLeads (foodleads.co.uk), operated by FoodLeads. Contact: hello@foodleads.co.uk.

The service

FoodLeads displays and exports data from the Food Standards Agency's public food hygiene ratings register. We don't create, check or change that data. It may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and not every council publishes premises awaiting inspection. Always check the official FSA page before relying on a rating. FoodLeads is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the Food Standards Agency or any local authority.

Subscriptions

Pro is a monthly subscription (currently £19/month, or the founding price shown at checkout), sold through Gumroad. It renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your Gumroad receipt. Cancelling stops future payments, and access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. If the service doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a refund.

Fair use

• A licence key is for one business. Don't share or resell it.
• Don't use the tool to harass businesses or to publish ratings in a misleading way.
• Never claim or imply that you are from, approved by or working with a local authority, environmental health service or the Food Standards Agency, unless that is true.
• No pressure selling, scare tactics or misleading claims about a business's rating or inspection.
• If a business you contact is a sole trader or partnership, tell them at first contact where you got their details (the Food Standards Agency's food hygiene ratings register), as UK GDPR requires.
• We may end a subscription that is used in breach of these rules, without refund.
• You are responsible for how you contact the businesses you find, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and screening calls against TPS/CTPS.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We aren't liable for lost business or profits, or for decisions you make based on the data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Data licence

Contains Food Standards Agency data licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. You may reuse exported data under the same licence, with attribution.
